As part of the Todai Forum held in Lyon in 2011, this Mobilemuseum exhibition presented in front of the Lyon City Hall large-scale enlargements of business card-sized photographs of Japanese taken in the Meiji era. By creating a kind of museum space within this central square where Lyon inhabitants come and go routinely, we offered the opportunity for astonishment and cultural discoveries in the daily life.
